Fear the Spotlight: Key Visual & Concept

We understand that marketing art needs to sell the fantasy of the game while also being designed for multiple use cases across a variety of platforms. For the PSX-style game Fear the Spotlight, we got to lean into some of our childhood nostalgia and were inspired by things like old school Goosebumps covers. We redesigned the style of the characters, creating high-resolution concepts to inform the characters in the game’s launch illustration.

Our final key art was then animated for use across social media sites and in game. This project was made for Blumhouse Games in collaboration with Cozy Game Pals and Creative Director Charles Bae. Check out the game on Steam!

We were honored to be a part of the launch of Blumhouse Games, and it was a pleasure to bring these characters to life.
